ORG/PEOPLE
Small team, open door
Aibuz is deliberately small. We do not run hiring rounds, but we always want to hear from Karachi-based engineers who care about production systems the way we do, and we bring in specialists per project.
INTRO/HOW
Skip the CV. Send the thing.
The best introduction is something you have built or fixed: a script, a postmortem, a homelab, a config you are proud of. Email it with two lines about yourself to hello@aibuz.org with the subject "Careers". We read everything and reply to everyone.
WORK/HOW
How this team works
W/01
Small and senior
No layers, no ticket theater. The person who takes a task owns it end to end, talks to the client directly, and has the access to actually fix things.
W/02
Written by default
Runbooks, decisions, and postmortems live in documents, not in someone’s head. If it is not written down, it did not happen — the same rule we sell to clients.
W/03
Karachi hours, real boundaries
Core hours align with the office on Shahra-e-Faisal. Emergencies exist in infrastructure work — heroics as a lifestyle do not. Tools and automation exist precisely so nights stay quiet.
W/04
Judged on outcomes
Uptime, restore tests that pass, clients who renew. Not hours visible online, not messages sent, not slides.
WORK/OPENINGS
Open roles, honestly
We hire rarely and deliberately — a small senior team is the product. When a role opens, it appears here first. Between openings we keep a shortlist: if the work described on this site is the work you want to do, send a short note with something you have built, run, or rescued. Real systems beat certificates; a well-written postmortem beats both.
WORK/PROCESS
1. Short written intro — what you have run, one thing that broke and what you did.
2. A practical conversation about real scenarios, not riddles about manhole covers.
3. A small paid trial task on a realistic system.
4. Offer in writing, terms you can actually read. The whole loop takes days, not months.
